5 Apps to Download in the New Year!
For me, the New Year comes with promises to work toward (and maybe even reach) my wellness, financial, professional, and overall lifestyle goals. It's obviously much easier said than done (seeing how I'm "working" towards them every year!) I found five different apps in the App Store that I'm hoping will keep me on track for this New Year and many more to come.
1. Calendars - Event and Task Manager by Readdle.
My sister was the one who showed me this app. If you know my sister, you know she's all about organization.. that girl loves her a good list. She swears by this app. The great thing about this is that you're able to color coordinate all of your entries. Such an easy way to tell the difference between appointments, birthday's, bill payments, work schedules and whatever else you need to keep track of. You can even set up notifications to remind you about upcoming events. Yas, perfect way to get ya life in order!
2. Unique Daily Affirmations by Gopher Apps.
I just started using this app the other day and I'm so in love with it. I set it up with my notifications to remind me every day when I wake up to read the days affirmation. Take just 30 seconds to read the affirmation out loud to yourself and I promise you will feel much better about yourself and the day ahead of you. It's so important to remind yourself that you're a bad bitch and nothing can get in your way... (obviously they say it much more eloquently than that, but you get the point).
3. Count It- A Tally Counter by Johan Erchoff.
This is another great app to help you keep track of things. Create little squares of the things you want to tally, for example "days without buying lunch", "work out sessions done this week", "people you should have cussed out but didn't", every time you want to add a tally just tap the square. It's a great way to stay accountable with how good or bad you're doing with a task.
4. Daily Budget Original by C Ruttinger.
This app is like a mix between millennial and old timer. You want to keep track and save your money for retirement.. but you're too young to be doing that with like a check book or something, so you use an app instead! The app helps you figure out what your "Daily Budget" should be based on how much you earn, what you spend on bills and living expenses, and what you want to put into savings. You can log what you spent each day in different categories (like clothes, food, make up, Primark trips) to see exactly where all your money is going.
5. Daily Workouts by Daily Workout Apps, LLC.
This app is perfect for those nights when it's just a big "hell no" to the gym but you still want to get some type of workout in. You just pick which body part you want to focus on and the app with show you 10 videos of 10 different workouts. You can decide if you want to work out for 5 minutes (30 seconds for each move), 8 minutes (45 seconds for each move), or 10 minutes (60 seconds for each move). It may not seem like a lot, but some movement is better than none, honey!
Okay, so never mind just keeping my resolutions/goals for the year… I think I may actually achieve some of them! *crowd cheers* I can't wait to see where 2017 takes us! Let's achieve our organization, self empowering, saving, and working out goals together. Cheers to having an amazing year, bitches!
