The easiest way to feel like you're spending the day at the spa is to throw on some masks. Yes, MASKS. Hair mask, eye masks, and a face mask. Here are some of my favorites.

Shea Moisture Coconut Oil - $13. Holy grail beauty item, you can use this ANYWHERE!
Tea Tree Oil - $10. This is amazing for itchy scalp!

Biore Charcoal Pore Strips - $6. Hurts like a bitch to take off, but so worth it!
24K Gold Collagen Eye Masks - $19 (pack of 8 pairs). Fancy AF!
Fuzzy Christmas Socks - $17 (pack of 6). Lotion up your feet then throw on these babies.
Pajama Robe with Matching Eye Mask - $15. Two for one deal, I'm there!
Mani/Pedi Mason Jars:
What's a pamper night without an at home mani/pedi? Don't get me wrong, I love going to the nail salon but it can get expensive. After Christmas is a time to get your bank account back in order, a trip to the salon isn't gonna help with that. These little mason jars are super easy to make and so cute!
What you'll need:
I was able to find a manicure set with clippers, a nail file and buffer, toe separators, and a heel buffer all in one at the Dollar Store. I would check out the nail aisle at the drug store for one of those before you buy everything separately. Place the cotton balls at the bottom of the mason jar, add everything else and you're done!
Monogram Mug/Wine Glass:
Like I've said before, there's no discriminating here on Noted Nina! I know there are ladies out there that like to relax with a nice cup of tea, some need their glass of wine. Either way, I got you covered!
What you'll need:
- wine glass
- Sharpie paint pens
Use some tape to mark out what shape or letter you want on your cup. You can do any design you want with the Sharpie. I did a dots design. All you have to do is trace the whole letter with little dots and the further away you go around the letter, the less dots you do. Simple as that. Let it dry and then peel the tape off. I found that the paint bleeds a little bit under the tape, if this happens to you too just grab a q-tip and some nail polish remover.
To make sure that the paint stays on after washing it, bake the glasses for 30 minutes on 350. *tip* Put the cups in there, turn the oven to 350, bake for 30 minutes, turn the oven off and leave the glasses in the oven until they cool. You don't want them to get too hot/cool too fast.
Coconut Oil Scrubs:
I did a post back in the summer about DIY body and lip scrubs and how important it is to exfoliate your skin. Exfoliating isn't just for when you plan on wearing short shorts. It's just as important to exfoliate in the winter. My favorite thing to do is exfoliate my legs with this scrub, shave my legs, and then add some more coconut oil to finish it off because I'm extra. Trust me, it's the bombbbbb! Click here for the full post on DIY Coconut Oil Scrubs.
Bath bombs are huge right now! I mean, if you take a bath, and don't document dropping a bath bomb in it… did you even take a bath?! Eucalyptus oil is amazing for so many different things. It helps with colds and congestion, sore muscles, cuts, burns, bug bites, dandruff, and most importantly.. it's a natural relaxer. Just taking a whiff of some eucalyptus oil will calm you down a bit, imagine what an explosion (see what I did there) of it in your bath will do.
What you'll need:
- 1 cup citric acid
- 2 cups baking soda
- 1 1/4 cup corn starch
- 1/2 cup Epsom salt
- green food coloring (optional)
- eucalyptus essential oil (about 8-10 drops)
- spray bottle with water
- bath bomb mold
First just mix the Citric acid, baking soda, corn starch and Epsom salt in a big bowl. Add a few drops off food coloring if you want. Here's a tip that I learned at the bakery: add a few drops of food coloring and rub the mixture in between your hands and it'll help with making sure there aren't any clumps of food coloring and that its evenly distributed. Once it's all colored, add about 8-10 drops of essential oil. Grab your water bottle and add 2 squirts of water and mix it in, repeat until the mixture starts to clump together. This took about 10-15 squirts of water. Don't do all 10 squirts at once though, the mixture will start to fizz on the bowl and you don't want that. Add the mixture to the mold and let it set over night. I found this Christmas tree mold at Michael's with the baking stuff but you could also use these metal bath bomb molds. Once they have dried over night you'll be able to pop them right out of the tray.
So grab a few (or all) of these goodies, throw them all in a big box or basket and watch your loved ones eyes light up thinking about them finally getting some time to pamper themselves! You can even add a nice bottle of wine to that basket if you need even more brownie points.
If you have no one to give this gift to... Get it for yourself! As the super wise Audre Lorde once said "I have come to believe that caring for myself is not self indulgent. Caring for myself is an act of survival." or in simpler terms, treat YO self! Enjoy! Until next time.
