July Favorites!

July Favorites!

Long time no talk, again. I hope everyone is enjoying their summer! I seriously missed doing favorites post so I'm back at it again with my July faves! And it's been a pretty beauty oriented month, so all my beauty lovers... Get your note pads out!

Noted Nina the Podcast

First things first, just wanna thank you all so much for the love and support on this new project! I've been putting in the work for months and months to get this going and it feels so good to actually see it happening. You guys listening, subscribing, writing reviews and telling your friends all about the show means THEE world to me! So thank you, thank you, thank you times a million! It's only up from here baby!

La Roche Posay Effaclar Medicated Gel Cleanser

I've been using this face wash for the past month and I can really tell the difference in my skin. I was worried about how my rosacea was gonna react with the salicylic acid but it didn't bother it at all. This is the type of cleanser that you can tell is working. Once it starts to suds up you can feel the tingling. I usually use this every night after taking my makeup off with the Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser. Double cleanse baby!

St Moriz Instant Self-Tanning Mousse in Medium

This has been saving my white ass all summer. So I'm definitely not one of those people who tan fast and honestly honey, I'm a busy girl.. I don't have the time to be sitting outside for 17 days straight trying to get a tan.

I've talked about this in a haul post but I hadn't used it at that point so now I can really give you my opinion. It's bomb. This gives me the perfect bronze color. Not orange at all! I apply it with an applicator mitt which buffs it out perfectly. Only bad thing I have to say about it is... It kinda stinks, but I mean what self tanner doesn't? Amirightttt?

It Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC Cream

So since I've been tanning like a mofo lately I needed a foundation that would match my brand new skin tone. I wanted something with less coverage than what I'm used to for the summer time. I did my research and found this bad boy.

I'm in love! I'm so in love that I'm definitely gonna be buying this in my "normal" shade so I can wear it all winter as well. It's so light and luminous but not to the point that you look like a sweaty greasy mess. It's literally "your skin but better"!

Marc Jacobs Enamored Hi-Shine Lip Lacquer in "Moonglow"

If you listen to the podcast, you'll know that I was invited to the grand opening of the Sephora Studio on Newbury Street (heyyyyyy!) This gloss was one of the things I picked up while I was there. One of the awesome Sephora reps (shoutout to Dylan) talked me into trying this gloss over my liquid lip and it was ICONICCCC!

I'm really not a gloss girl.. I don't think it looks good on me for some reason but this gloss has changed all of that. It's so pigmented and creamy! It doesn't have that super tacky, greasy feel most glosses do. Aside from the formula.  The color I picked up is peerrrrrrfect. It's the prettiest nude pink that I kinda think was made specifically for me! I think this gloss may have converted me?????

Wild Thoughts - DJ Khaled ft Rihanna & Bryson Tiller

I meannnnn... I can't be the only one that's literally obsessed with this song. Summer '17 anthem. Rihanna is just a goddess, ugh. Every time this comes on I can't help but shake sum'. Take a listen and shake sum' too!

That's it peeps! I hope you guys enjoyed my July Favorites. I'm excited to be getting back into blogging more. I have some really fun stuff to come this fall. Yaaaaas, FALL!!
