Anther month, come and gone. February is the shortest month, but I feel like I've tried and fell in love with a good amount of things. Let's not waste any time!
Charlotte Russe Crop Boyfriend Jeans - I went shopping on my lunch break recently (what else is new) and took advantage of Charlotte Russe's jeans sale since I was in desperate need of some new ones. I picked up these and a pair of high wasted ones. They're both so cute and fit like a glove but these ones are my fave. I've always wanted to do the "boyfriend jean" look but... sometimes boyfriend jeans + thick legs don't mix well together. I think these are the perfect mix between that baggy boyfriend look but still hug that ass just right, ya know! I'll for sure, be living in these all Spring.
Trader Joe's Vitamin E Oil- This winter has been rough on my skin. I've been really dry which isn't normal for me. One spot I noticed getting super dry were my cuticles. There's nothing worse than having your nail polish still be fresh looking but your cuticles look like hell. Here's a little DIY hack for ya, clean out an empty concealer/lip gloss container (or you can buy empty ones here), fill it with some Vitamin E Oil and apply to your cuticles when you notice they're a little dry. I made a tube to keep on my desk at work and have been applying it a couple times a day.. It has made such a difference!
Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Ophelia - Kat Von D came out with 6 "nude" shades for her Everlasting Liquid Lipsticks collection and they were ALL over Instagram just taunting me! I caved and bought Ophelia and I'm in love! This is the first KVD liquid lipstick I've tried, I know.. what have I been waiting for?! The formula is super smooth and not as drying as other liquid lipsticks I've used. The color is so perfect, it's that pinky - brownish nude that I'm obsessed with. It stayed put for a good 5-6 hours before I had to reapply around lunch time. KVD has a ton of different shades, from dark and vampy to bright and fun, and shades suitable for all different skin tones. I'll definitely be getting some more of these babies.
Cafe Bustelo Espresso Ground Coffee - I recently spent a Saturday afternoon at my friend Renata's house talking about and eating delicious desserts, making funny faces at her kids and drinking SO much of this coffee. Not to be dramatic or anything (you guys know I'm totally not like that) but this coffee is so delicious I'd give my first born child up for it. I know it's a little early in the season, but I already switched over to iced coffee and thankfully this is just as good cold as it is hot. I brew a pot at night, put it in the fridge and I'm good to go in the morning.
NYX Hi Definition Photo Concealer - I picked this up at Ulta after running out of my other fave, the Urban Decay Naked Concealer. I really wanted to try the Tarte Shape Tape Concealer but it's been sold out online and in store for weeks! Like, what's a girl gotta do to find her shade of Shape Tape?! Anyways, this NYX concealer is amazing! It's definitely my new drug store favorite. It blends out just as easily and evenly as my UD Naked Concealer. They have a pretty big color selection which even includes yellow, lavender, and green shades for color correcting. Those are next on the list!
As we know, February is the month on loooove. I've definitely been listening to more love songs this month... just not very traditional ones. Like Lemonade for example, which is about learning to forgive and love again after the hurt of someone cheating on you (yes.. I am gonna talk about Beyonce in every post). And this, Work Song by Hozier, which is pretty much about loving someone so much that even death can't keep you apart. Beautiful right? His voice is just so soothing and soulful I play it on repeat for hours. Enjoy!
That's all I got for this month babes. What have you guys been loving? Anything you guys want me to try out? As always, let me know! I'm so looking forward to the Spring time, we're almost there people, get excited! Until next time!
