Honestly, truly... Where has October gone? There are two more months left of 2017. TWO. MONTHS. What the hell? Although it seems like this month went by in 2 hours, I managed to pull together some favorites for you guys! Here ya goooo!
Avene Cold Cream
Okay listen... Listen here. I'm in love with this new podcast called Glowing Up and they recently had a celebrity makeup artist on who was one of the artists on Lemonade. Yes, THAT Lemonade. She said that this product is something Beyoncés person MUA (Sir John) required every other artist to have in their collection for the project. Long story short Beyoncé uses this moisturizer.
This is a very thick and moisturizing formula. It's really made for dry to extremely dry skin (I have oily) but I really didn't care. If Beyoncé okays it, I'm buying it. I was surprised how much I like this. I usually apply this before my makeup and it gives my skin such a plump, dewy look and feel. It's definitely become a staple in my makeup routine. Thanks Beyyyyy!
Sophia & Cinzia
Is it weird to put people on my list of monthly favorites? Whatevs.. I'm doing it. My sister has been following these girls for a while and now I too am officially obsessed with them. They're two YouTubers from the UK and I literally just wanna be best friends with them. Their style is impeccable, they are literally hilarious, their accents are the coolest.. they're my favorites, ever. There aren't many YouTubers that I'll watch every video they upload no matter what it is. But I definitely do that with Sophia and Cinzia. Whether they post a haul video, vlog, get ready with me, q&a.. I'm watching it. UGH OBSESSED WITH THEM!!!
Maple Holistics Tea Tree Oil Shampoo
First, I just gotta tell you guys this company did reach out to me and send me this shampoo for free.. My opinion is still MY opinion no matter what I get sent and I would never lie to you guys. Got it! So anyways, I have been loving this shampoo. I've been suffering a lot with dandruff and this has helped SO MUCH. I try not to shampoo every time I wash my hair so I've really only used it maybe 6-8 times and I can really really see the difference in my dry and itchy scalp. The only thing I wasn't a fan of is how strong the smell is. It smells like straight up tea tree oil and that scent isn't really one of my favorites.. but it gets the job done!
This isn't quite a product, more of a technique that I've been loving lately for curly hair! Ive pretty much been wearing my hair up for months because it's so much easier than waking up, showering, applying my products and leaving it soaking wet for 5 hours. Another solution to my problem would be waking up earlier to dry my hair a bit buttttt... Seeeee ya later, not doing that.
Okay so plopping, here's what I do.. I shower at night, apply all my normal hair products (I use the Shea Moisture Curl & Style Milk and Design Essentials Curl Defining Gel), and then wrap my hair up in a t-shirt. I'm a pretty sensitive person when I sleep (lights need to be off, no noise, just the right temperature) so I didn't know how I would feel with a shirt on my head but it honestly doesn't bother me at all. When I wake up my hair is almost fully dried, and nice and curly. From there I just spray a little Moroccan Argan Oil spray to help the frizz and I'm good to go.
Bath & Body Works Autumn Candle
Is it really Fall if you don't have a Bath & Body Works candle burning in the background? This has been my Fall candle of choice for the past few years. It's just such a clean, but sweet and cozy smell. We've been having pretty warm and not really October-like weather so it's been really nice to light this candle, open up the windows and get some fresh air in the house. I really don't have much to say because..... this candle just speaks for itself, ya know!
Okay peeps, that's all I have this month! Let me know what your current obsessions are! Got any products you want me to try? Any TV shows I need to start watching? Tell me everything! Until next time..
