May Favorites!

Hey babes,

In this post I'll be sharing with you all the products I've been loving in the month of May. I have a few so let's get started!

Murad Rapid Age Spot and Pigment Lightening Serum - I have Rosacea and some what acne prone skin so I do have acne scars and pigmentation on my cheeks mostly. This product is supposed to help even out your skin tone and also helps prevent future pigmentation issues. I feel like I could see a difference in my skin with just using this a few times. The only thing I don't like about this product is it's very strong smell. Other than that, it has definitely made its way into my permanent skin care routine.

Too Faced Lip Injection Extreme- Okay.... this shit is the REAL DEAL. I've used "plumping" lip glosses before and yeah they tingle a bit but I never really saw a difference. With this product, I can see a difference after about 30 seconds. Maybe I'm a little wussy but the tingling from this gloss is intense! Although it has no color, it does turn my lips a bright pinkish red from all the tingling so I usually put it on while I do the rest of my make up, then wipe it off and apply a lip color. The product information on the box says it has long term results as well but I'm not sure about that just yet, I'll keep you guys posted.

Artis Oval 8 Brush- This was my birthday present from my sister Lissie. She knew that I would never buy something like this for myself (true). This is one of those items you see on Instagram and YouTube and you wonder if it's worth all the hype….. YES, it is! My foundation has never looked better. Imagine the flawlessness of using a Beauty Blender for foundation and then times that by 100. It's pricey, kinda ridiculously pricey.. but if you want to splurge, try this out!

Bath & Body Works Beautiful Day Candle- This scent is so perfect for Spring. You know that first day in Spring that it's kind of warm, warm enough to finally open your windows after the long winter months? This candle is made for that day. I'm not sure if they only sell the candle with their Spring/Summer collection but they always have Beautiful Day lotion, shower gel, scrubs, all that good stuff online or in store. Go check it out!

Aldo Legoesen Sunglasses- Any one else get sucked into Aldo/Aldo Accessories whenever they walk past it in the mall? It's like everything is so shiny.. and chic… and just calling my name! I'm usually not an aviator type of gal but this spring I actually have two pairs that I'm sure I'll be alternating between. The Legoesen style is men's but they were so cute and practical I couldn't help myself. And Lissie has a pair just like them so ya know, the little sister in me had to come out.

Heartspring Lip Balm- This has to be the best lip balm I've ever used. I heard about it on Stassi's (from Vanderpump Rules) podcast "Straight Up With Stassi". Her close friend Kristina Kelly hand makes every single one of these in her house (doesn't get more natural than that). They come in 3 flavors: Coconut + Rose, Lavender + Honey, and Rosemary + Vanilla. I bought the Coconut + Rose one and its sooooo good. It's not an overpowering scent, it makes your lips feel moisturized but doesn't leave them super tacky or shiny, and it doesn't eventually dry out your lips like most other lip balms do (yes, most lip balms actually dry out your lips so that you'll crave it and use more.. I know, so backwards). This product is AMAZING and I always love helping out small businesses!

LEMONADE & VIEWS- Pretty much this entire month all I've been listening to is Beyoncé & Drake.  Both albums have been giving me LIFE. If you haven't listened to them I suggest you go do that, right now! I'm gonna share with you two of my faves.. It was so hard to narrow it down but I picked the two songs that make shake sum every time they're on. Enjoy!!

That's it for the month of May, let me know if you try any of the products listed above and feel free to share your favorite products as well. Until next time!

Noted, Nina
