"I was not made to be subtle..."

September Favorites!

Hi babes!

Holy shit… I know I say it every month but September literally flew by. Like I feel like it didn't even happen. I loved switching into Fall mode. I put my maxi dresses to rest and brought out some cozy sweaters. YAASSS! Wanna see what else I've been loving in September!? Let's get into it!

Vanity Planet Aroma Diffuser & Humidifier - I've been using this humidifier for a while now but this month it has been a life saver. Last week I got a crappy cold. First it started with the sneezing and stuffy nose, then moved to my throat with the coughing and then made its way to my head with a few migraines. It was a blast. This humidifier was LIFE! I filled it with water and added a few drops of peppermint oil to help clear my nose (and to be fancy) and it worked like a dream! I put it on every night before bed and it really really helped! I will definitely be using it every night now. I bought it a few months back using some Instagram models discount code but you could definitely find a cheaper one on amazon.

Tarte Tarteist Lash Paint Mascara - I know I may be contradicting myself a bit here because I've definitely said that I don't use high end mascara but honestly… This mascara is so good I don't mind spending the extra money. I got a sample size of this in my September Ipsy bag and I'm seriously in love. It makes my lashes so long and voluminous. I got another lash lift Saturday and this mascara + the lash lift is more of a power couple than Kimye. Even on the last couple weeks of my first lash lift when my lashes went back to normal this mascara made such a difference. I will definitely be buying a full size!

Maybelline Better Skin Concealer - I've been going for a very minimalistic make up look lately and this concealer is definitely a must have to achieve that. My rosacea has chilled the eff out a bit since I've been using a new cream my dermatologist prescribed me so I feel more confident wearing less foundation. All I do is put some concealer on my under eyes, set that and the rest of my face with some powder and call it a day (plus brows and mascara, but those are mandatory!) I got this concealer to match my skin tone cause I didn't want to highlight my under eyes, just conceal the dark circles. It's so easy to blend and it doesn't crease as bad as other drug store concealers I've tried. Definitely a steal!

Bath & Body Works Autumn Room Perfume - Oh baby, yes! Now it's no secret that Bath & Body Works is the home of all Fall scents. Like if you get your Fall candles at Yankee Candle and not Bath & Body Works…. I don't trust you. This Autumn scent is so perfect. It's literally the smell of Autumn. There's a bit of apple smell in there mixed with a woodsy smells. Ugh, it's amazing and it works SO good. You really only need one squirt per room, it's that good.

Palmer's Coconut Oil Deep Conditioning Protein Pack- I talked about this briefly in my Curly Hair Care post but this month I've really been addicted to it. I colored my hair recently (yes, I have naturally dark brown hair… yes, I had to go darker for the fall) and I wanted to make sure I kept my hair moisturized. I like to leave the mask on over night so I'll take a shower, let my hair air dry a little so it's not dripping and add this all over my hair. I put it up in a top knot and the next day when I rinse it out, it's sooooo soft! You can also use it while you're in the shower. Just apply and leave on for a few while you do the rest of your shower-ly duties and then rinse. I get two uses out of each pack which is a plus. I'll probably do this twice a month from now on as a conditioning treatment.

This is probably my favorite part of my favorites posts! I love sharing with you guys what song I've been jammin' to. I sometimes think about you guys sitting at your computers listening and jammin' out with me. I remember listening to this Sam Smith song years ago with Lissie and loving it. Every time it comes on my Pandora I can't help myself, I hit every high note (once you listen to the song you'll be able to imagine how crazy I must sound). The more I listen to this song, the more I relate to it. I'll let you guys interpret it yourself. Enjoy!

That's all I have for now, what were your favorite things this month? Until next time!

Noted, Nina
